Special Collections – Pretoria Philatelic Society Donation
The Pretoria Philatelic Society (PPS) was established in 1898, and the PPS library was started in the early 1900s, and contains a number of major works on philately in South Africa and around the world.
The DLS Special Collections Unit invites you to the official handover of the PPS library, including talks to be given by the past President of the PPS, and representatives from the South African Post Office Museum and Archive and Philatelic Services. There will also be a small joint exhibition by Special Collections and the SA Post Office Museum and Archive, and items from the SAPO Philatelic Services on sale. Join us to celebrate this wonderful addition to our collections.
