Teaching and Learning for Academics: Academics and the Impact of Literacies In-Person / Online
The Department of Library Services (DLS) is excited to announce our Teaching and Learning Week, scheduled from 15 to 19 April 2024. This event promises engaging sessions and discussions exploring critical topics like Artificial Intelligence in Teaching and Learning, Digital Storytelling, and Critical Thinking, among others, all of which are shaping the future landscape of Higher Education.
Join us for the final day as we explore the impact of literacies in Teaching and Learning. Dr. Tabisa Mayisela from the Centre for Innovation for Learning and Teaching at the University of Cape Town will discuss integrating digital literacies and AI into the curriculum.. Dr Heather Goode from Education Innovation Department of the Univeristy of Pretoria, will present on how Academic and Information LIteracies can empower better thinking.
