Anti-Plagiarism In-Person / Online
Students who attended this training will understand the concept of plagiarism and its implications. The different types of plagiarism that students commit will be explained. Students will furthermore understand the difference between quoting, paraphrasing and how to apply it in assignments. Basic concepts of referencing and its applications will be discussed. Turnitin software and its application are discussed. Awareness of plagiarism tools and tutorials, for example, the UP plagiarism policy, on the library website will be discussed.
